Start dreaming with the Inspiring design creations of the nominated for Yacht and Aviation Awards 2019 George Lucian.
Uniqueness in the design of power and sailing yachts to bring the future to our era; to remind us of how sustainable luxury yachts might be in the near future. Together with Sannah Hombergen, an established interior Superyacht designer, involved in the design of some of the world’s largest yachts, presented the concept of the skyscraper The Vertical Yacht.
The Monaco-based Superyacht Designer and Artist George Lucian whose futuristic yacht concepts are published all over the world, displays unique concepts imitating natural landscapes or military vessels, expressing the ultimate desire of a potential Owner however with an eye on the realistic side.
Dare To Dream
George Lucian presents concepts to stimulate the imagination of the yachting world but sets trends for the future. The fabulous ‘Dare to Dream’ had been the first published concept that went viral, published in more than 100 publications all over the world including CNN, Fox News, AD, GQ, and a lot of yachting magazines. No matter how challenging such a project would be for the team of the naval architects and the yard, the original concept features will be the pioneering elements in such a construction.
Another interesting project inspired by the art of Origami and the Asian ancient sailing junks had been the 100m sailing yacht Project Origami, with the unusual hull, the window protection in the hull that converts to a helipad at the aft port side, the swimming pool, which is the width of the whole hull and has glass walls, creating a very special effect on the profile of the yacht. The mast is secured to the yacht from the middle of the swimming pool, which is an unusual design feature.

My favorite project 65m MY Roswell is an iconic recognizable hull inspired from the future by featuring the most desired technology to turn a Superyacht into a green unit.
MY Roswell 65m coming from another dimension
Designed to have full electric running capabilities, is supported by two diesel-electric engines. The large electric panels cover the numerous horizontal surfaces of the superstructure of the vessel. With elements to remind the military stealth vessels Roswell project impresses the yachting world with the full electric capacity, the solar panels, and the distinctive sharp lines to make heads turn.
On the bow side of the main deck, you can find a large outdoor covered living area, including a beam length swimming pool, the lounge, and the dining area. This shall be the main living area of the yacht, being connected to the main salon and the stern deck with large glass doors and walls, giving the sensation of a huge open loft-like space. The bridge deck is located on the upper deck, together with a helicopter platform, and a sky lounge. The yacht can welcome onboard 12 guests together with 12 crew members. More of the secrets of the origins and materials of this like-never-seen-before yacht lay in its very own name, ROSWELL.
MY Gold Frigate is my personal pursuit to see the concept materialized
My also favorite design striving to promote to my clientele is the Gold Frigate. I love military vessels and conversion of an existing vessel to the Gold Frigate is an ambitious but tangible project.
