The Vertical Yacht is a Brancusi-inspired skyscraper design by George Lucian and interior by Hannah Sahra, in metallic materials and interior to remind of a Superyacht.

Considering art is a valued contribution to the owner’s personal interior style, Hannah words closely with a group of esteemed artists and galleries for an exclusive choice befitting the taste of the studio’s clientele.
In collaboration with the award-winning exterior designer George Lucian, together as a team of young designers, Hannah Sahra and George Lucian Studio proposes a skyscraper design to complete the future skyline of Manhattan or any region a golden state-of-art skyscraper would fit in the landscape.
George Lucian is popular in the Superyacht Industry with a series of extraordinary superyacht concepts, including the 65m Roswell, the 100m Project Origami (mega sailing yacht inspired by the art of origami and traditional Asian vessels), the 140m concepts Dare to Dream (the airship carrier superyacht), and the 70m explorer Fata Morgana.
After the series of ultra-slender skyscrapers under construction on the billionaires’ row, New York, near the 57th street and 6th avenue, a new proposed skyscraper is pushing the boundaries of architecture and design even further.
“The Vertical Yacht” is a design with its exterior inspired by one of the sculptures of the famous Romanian world-renown sculptor, Constantin Brancusi, whose permanent exhibition is just a couple of streets away at the MOMA NY. Covered in copper/bronze/terracotta and similar look-alike metallic materials, the building would offer dramatic views at each sunset. It is designed to be a residential building, offering the highest level of luxury and exclusivity for future owners.
“The Vertical Yacht”, the name of the building, is drawn from the shape of the building but also from its interiors that are inspired by the interiors of superyachts, creating a special and ultra-luxurious atmosphere and lifestyle for its residents. Each of the envisioned apartments, as seen in the interior images, would offer a 360-degree view over the skyline of New York, including Central Park, in height of 450m hosting 60 floors.
The Vertical Yacht would be ideal in more landscapes which would reflect the beautiful sand, like the under development cities of MASDAR, at Abu Dhabi, or NEOM, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Vertical Yacht would be ideal for sandstorm watching offering the feeling of being one with the desert, the nutrient-rich sand for ocean life.

The golden skyscraper towering over the city, with the artistic looks, can even become a neighborhood of similar tall buildings and become a highlight in the city, providing a security system in the top floors efficient to avoid invading unmanned driven vehicles and drones.
