Creating drinking water from air for people everywhere.
The Genesis? Water has been at the center of civilization since the beginning of time. An essential element for the preservation of life, the facilitation of trade, and the advancement of society and economy, water is a valuable resource that is often taken for granted.
As of 2017, it is believed that 1 in 3 people still lack access to basic drinking water, which translates to over 2 billion people being affected by its mismanagement and scarcity[1]. Though tangible efforts have been made to improve water access and to fight insecurity, freshwater supply has decreased by 55% per capita since 1960[2] and 3.5 million people die every year as a result of unsafe water and poor sanitation and hygiene[3].

In this respect, Watergen has made it its pursuit and mission to make fresh, clean, and safe drinking water accessible for every man, woman, and child worldwide – whilst adopting sustainability at the core of its philosophy. Available everywhere! At a reasonable cost of trading and maintenance.
Watergen’s story began in 2009 when a team of experts and visionary men across military, engineering, and business got together to discover a method to make water accessible to military strongholds worldwide. Then, three years later, it developed an innovative breakthrough technology that facilitates the provision of ready-to-drink water, straight out of thin air. This eventually led to the first atmospheric water generator, which helped the business venture take off in 2016. Followed by steady growth, Watergen is now present across four continents and its technology has been used by a diversity of stakeholders, from poverty-stricken communities, all the way to sporting events.
How does it work? The process relies on heat-exchange technology, arguably similar to those present inside refrigerators. Local humid air rises upstream through a dust-removing filter and then undergoes condensation, before falling into a buffer tank and through a multi-step water filtration system. The resulting magic: safe to drink water made from air in the atmosphere.

Watergen’s secret resides on the fact that it has one of the most energy-efficient systems on the market. To put it in numbers, every kilowatt-hour can produce 4 liters of water. This results in as much as five times more water produced than through any equivalent technology. Another key feature is its scalability which allows for modular expansions and adaptability to different types of needs.
The outcome? Household-friendly “Genny” appliance, this water generator can produce 27 liters a day and dehumidify air in the room as well. As for medium-scale and large-scale devices like the ones fitted on Ford truck units, the Gen -M model, suited for larger facilities, can produce up to 800 liters respectively. For better mobility and high crisis-tackling capacity, an ERV customized for water production is available, as well as a mobile trailer.

Watergen products can serve many purposes beyond single homes or offices. As many countries are facing water scarcity and water pollution, atmospheric water generators are posing themselves as long-lasting and accessible solutions for such issues. On the business side, clean and drinkable water, made sustainably and in an energy-efficient manner can enhance return on investment. In addition, making water accessible in places such as shopping malls, can enhance the customer experience.

The full turnkey solutions need Installation within 2 weeks, products are approved by Governments at every region installed, need 10 years’ service and maintenance, while the brand offers technical training on the machines of locals and global press coverage.
The proprietary technology which was originally developed to help solve the world’s water shortage crisis has been adapted for use in private cars, recreation and leisure vehicles, buses, trucks, and vans. Time has come to be adjusted on board luxury yachts as well while builders and designers should consider the time of technological evolution as Technology trends already present the floating islands and floating cities concepts.

The mobile unit Gen-M ERV is another innovation to bringing clean, freshwater to the sites of major emergencies and natural disasters. When an emergency incident or natural disaster strikes, water supplies are often compromised or cut off altogether

With the GEN-M ERV, water is available almost immediately, making this the quickest and easiest solution to implement in cases where time is an issue.

More than just water! Because Watergen’s philosophy and technology are developed around a better society and a better environment, it draws from extensive cross-disciplinary research and expertise. That said, Watergen is now a team of multi-disciplinary people: from electrical engineers to biologists, who work to bring compliant, economic, and customer satisfying products.
Watergen sustains lives by providing water access across the four corners of the globe
The company has been endorsed worldwide by thought leaders and prestigious organizations, like TIME Magazine or the World Economic Forum for its innovative and pioneer company culture.
To date, Watergen sustains lives by providing water access across the four corners of the globe, and as with every visionary company, it continues to look for an opportunity to democratize its technology even further, using for instance the automotive industry as an example.

How does the global community perceive the glorious innovation of Watergen and the intelligence of the project? Shouldn’t the new regions under development like NEOM in Saudi Arabia, or Masdar City in UAE consider ventures with Watergen? Shouldn’t the United Nations do find the paths through which other organizations recommend or enforce the utilization of such a brilliant system in countries they certainly and immediately need water?
It is the birthright of every person in this world to enjoy the most basic human necessity of clean, pure drinking water, regardless of geographical location, skin color, or religious belief
Watergen deserves our attention as it brings technology for a better world. It is the birthright of every person in this world to enjoy the most basic human necessity of clean, pure drinking water, regardless of geographical location, skin color, or religious belief. In the 21st Century, no one deserves to live without access to safe clean drinking water, as is said by the President of the brand, Dr. Michael Mirilashvili.
